Gender Mend, a group exhibition amplifying works of transgender artists in the context of craft

Gender Mend explores the ideas of what we, as gender expansive persons, work to recontextualize about our personhood, our histories, our bodies, and the ways in which we are viewed. We offer the value of our past experiences as not something to be forgotten, but rather to be examined, maintained, and mended to transform what may have once been the source of our pain into something tangibly affirming.

Artists include: Solena Aguilar, Abel Andrade, Rora Blue, Hee Eun Chung, Jadi Darawi, Traci Johnson, Jesse Katz, Jules Kowalski, Lucky Kernan, Leo Pontius, Danny Sudberry, Elliot Rockart, work from Transmissions Quilts, and more, to be announced.
